Calgary Association for the Development of Musical Education

CADME We believe music, and a quality music education, should be accessible to everyone. Music education is a fundamental human right. We believe music opens doors, and every child should have the opportunity to make music. CADME (Calgary Association for the Development of Music Education) is a volunteer-run registered charity which supports music education initiatives. Through workshops, concerts, academies, conferences, instrument purchases, artist residencies and other special events we have reached tens of thousands of students and hundreds of educators. We work with numerous other organizations in order to offer students young and old the very best opportunities to follow their musical dreams and achieve excellence.

CADME relies solely on donations, memberships, and proceeds from a bi-annual casino. Since our inception in 2003, CADME has granted over one $1,000,000 towards music education programs and events and has made an enormous impact on local music education programs, teachers, and students.
