The Alberta Piano Teachers Association was formed in 1993 as an educational and inspirational organization for anyone presently teaching piano or interested in teaching piano.

Our mission is to provide encouragement, inspiration and educational opportunities for all piano teachers in an atmosphere of co-operation and mutual respect.

We believe that teaching is a lifelong learning process and we support and respect teachers at all stages of their professional development.
